Somewhere in my memory
The years just slip away,
I remember all the special times,
That you brought into my day.

I see you as a young man
With eyes as grey as steel,
I remember my heart beating
And the love I came to feel.

I recall your special ways,
The joy, the love and laughter
Brought joy into my days.

I see your gentle smile,
The love you have for your children
Makes me weep a while.

The young man I fell in love with
